Dear All 

Welcome to all of our new students!  This will be the first newsletter for many families - can we ask that you save our email address to your address book - thank you! 

For all of our returning students and parents you will see some new faces amongst the Centre Stage staff, we are delighted to welcome Sarah, Lou and Owen - full Bio's will be available on-line in the next few days.

Congratulations - to Vicky Lee who is now our Head of Dance! As you will see from our website and posters around the school, the dance department has set the tone for another action packed year!  Our first activities this year start on the 27th October, when we welcome Leslie Feliciano from New York, who will run a series of HIP HOP classes! The week long visit will see Leslie performing at our Dance Celebration evening, where we will award the medals to the Jazz and Tap students, and enjoy our first choreography and dance competition!   You don't have to take attend any of our regular dance classes to sign up for the HIP HOP workshops - and they are open to adults as well as the young students! 

Watch out this week for news of 10 Fest, the Ballet Show and wait for it...the Christmas Show!

O.K.H ballet centre - REMINDER 

O.K.H will be coming to Centre Stage on Monday 30th August to sell uniform pieces. They will have everything apart from Character skirts which we get from Sonata and Pre-primary and Primary uniform which we get from Stage Image. So if you need...

·  shoes

·  leotards (all grades)

·  belts

·  pins

·  elastics

·  hair bands

·  socks

·  tights

·  grade six skirts

·  Beginner ballet skirts

·  new black grade six leotard

·  character shoes

And anything else I might have forgotten! They will have all these things.  They will be here from 11am onwards, once stock runs out they will take orders and send it to the school for you to pick up in your next lesson. Please take advantage of this opportunity as if it proves successful they will come in at the beginning of every term in order for you to buy uniform.    

Safety Reminder and other stuff 

Pick up and Drop off 

Please remember that it is your responsibility to drop and collect your child from the studio and to their teacher.  If you are choosing to drop your child and have registered this with the office - we ask that you remain diligent and ensure that your children are aware and alert when making their way across the car park.  

Sickness 

PLEASE don't send your child into class if they are showing signs of illness. A runny nose can be the warning sign for many more serious conditions in Asia....
