It's been an absolutely fabulous first half of term 1. We hope everybody has had a very relaxing half term break - we are thrilled to see a lot of you back this week, and wish those of you still away, a lovely rest of holiday - see you soon.

A CHRISTMAS CARROT
Christmas Panto 28th & 29th November @ Genexis Theatre, Fusionopolis

Rehearsals for Christmas Carrot started today and were fantastic. Everybody did themselves proud, and we are very much looking forward to a super exciting rehearsal period and show!

NEW DANCE CLASSES IN THE EAST 
We are introducing some great new dance classes on The East Coast. 

Come along to a trial classes in:

  • BALLET TOTS (2.5 - 3.5 years, accompanied class) - Mondays 9.30am 
  • CONTEMPORARY DANCE (ages 8-13) - Wednesday 28th October 4.30pm 
  • BOYS OWN CLUB (ages 7.5+) - Monday 2nd November 5pm

DANCE DEPARTMENT
There will be a Dance department specific update coming your way very soon, once we've finalised details for next year's ballet exams, but key info to be aware of already:

  • Registrations for the Annual Dance Show 2016 are now OPEN
  • Details for Ballet Show exams are very soon to be released 


NEW ADULT EVENING CLASSES

Last Wednesday - 21st October - Saw an Adult open evening, involving lots of creativity, wine and much fun! Well done to all who came and were involved. It was so great to see all the new faces and look forward to working with you all in the coming weeks. As a result we are offering Free Trial classes in our Adult Courses, including some new and very exciting evening classes. Contact the office to sign up for a FREE TRIAL class in the following:  
  • Improv @ Fusionopolis, 7pm - 8pm - Monday 2nd November
  • Tap Dance @ Fusionopolis, 6.30pm - 7.30pm - Monday 2nd November
  • Adult Musical Theatre @ Fusionopolis 6.30pm - 8pm - Tuesday 3rd November

ON STAGE! MT PRESENTATIONS
A reminder to all On Stage Musical Theatre students and parents that Class Presentations are nearly upon us! You should all be aware of the plan - next week (Commencing 26th October) will be in-class tech rehearsals and the following week will be the presentations themselves, also in class time! Here is the schedule (NB: Thursday 29th, Roshni's Group D1600RN, rehearsals have been extended to 6.30pm)

General communication: We are in the midst of changing the way in which we send out Newsletter updates, but for now all key news is emailed, posted to our Facebook Group and website:
(Open Facebook Page & Close Facebook Group The closed group is only for those people closely connected with Centre Stage to join - Here you can view photos of what your children get up to in classes, rehearsals and shows, as well as news on upcoming events, workshops and discounts. To be accepted into the closed page - simply go to the page and ask to join.)

Please find attached a reminder of our term dates - and take note that withdrawal week is coming up relatively soon (Week Commencing 9th November)
