Dear All,

It's been great to see everyone back in class, and to welcome new students for your first term at Centre Stage!

We've got lots of important information for you this week, please do make sure to read on.

1. A quick reminder that this Thursday 24th September is a Public Holiday
- in celebration of Hari Raya Haji - and therefore Centre Stage will be closed. We will miss everybody, feel free to let us know what creative pursuits you get up to through our closed Facebook Group.

2. Dance Celebration and Choreography & Dance Competition 

Our Annual Jazz Awards & Choreography competition is fast approaching. 

This year it will take place on Sunday 4th October at the Black Box Theatre in the National Library.

This is an annual event that gives all of our Jazz students the opportunity to perform their medal exam dances, additionally many of our new students, and those that took class but didn't take the medals have also been invited to perform - including our Contemporary & Tap students.

All students who took medals are entitled to two complimentary tickets (the code for which has been sent in a separate email along with details of show weekend logistics).

3. Annual Ballet Show - The Four Seasons
Rehearsals for the ballet show have now started. The rehearsal schedule is here and can also be found on our website under "Calendar - Parent Communication" if you need to download a new copy at any time.

4. Trial Classes
We are currently offering free trial classes in a number of courses - for those looking to try something new! You can sign up through our website. Specific information is also regularly available on our Facebook page, we would appreciate your time in sharing with friends.

5. New Classes in the East - We are thrilled to remind you, we are now open Saturdays on the East Coast. Current classes on offer include: 

• Playstage - 9.00am with Sophie 
• Introduction to Creative Drama - 10.30am with Sophie 

We are very likely to open more Creative Drama classes soon - please register your interest with Shahnaz, via email: east@centre-stage.com or phone 6449 6211

We would also like to highlight Ballet Tots is coming back to the East ...

• Ballet Tots - Monday 9.30am with Ashleigh - Our little ones have graduated so we are looking for our newbies, a morning activity where Mum or carer joins in too!
