Join us for Anansi Tales, as we bring to life and tell some of the stories of Anansi the Spider. Anansi is a character found in African folktales with the personality of a ‘trickster’ and is considered as one of the most important characters of West African and West Indian folktales. In this vibrant storytelling, meet Anansi, who uses his curiosity, creativity, cunning and wit to outsmart the powerful in these traditional parables Performed by our On Stage (Acting) Students aged 8-12 yrs on the following dates:
